Our Goals
• To continue to raise awareness of the great need of impoverished children with cleft lip/palate deformities and dental needs.
• To visit each mission site on a continual basis to treat patients and educate local surgeons.
• To recruit surgeons and dentists who share our commitment and want to join our mission trips.
• To achieve sustainability for the foundation through continual fundraising efforts.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Mead, scientist,
anthropologist, diplomat and author named “Mother of the World” by Time in 1969.
We are people just like you who have compassion for others. We are a group of individuals with a common vision who take action and do what we can to make the world a better place.
Our team of doctors and volunteers donate all services to patients at no charge. To ensure all donated money is used most efficiently to help the children in need, we pay our own airfares to our mission sites in Guatemala, Cambodia, Columbia and Cameroon.
We invite you to make a difference. Your support can change the course of a child’s future.
We turn our compassionate thought and desire into activism, carrying our skills across borders to bring about true change.
Free to Smile Foundation is a fully functional year-round nonprofit organization formed by a group of individuals who care. Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and ideals, we all have one common vision: to make a change in the world, to do whatever it takes to help serve the impoverished cleft lip/palate and dental population throughout the world.
Free to Smile Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization. Our all-volunteer staff relies upon the generosity of others - individuals, companies and foundations – to fulfill its mission.
